Scroll is a digital culture magazine for people who came online for one article and ended up in a 30-minute scroll spiral. We're not sorry about that. We built it on purpose.

We cover global pop culture, fashion, television, internet trends and South African conversations with the same lens: editorial intelligence, with a side of wit and a refusal to take ourselves too seriously.

We believe culture is best understood when you can hold the high and the low in the same hand. A Vogue editorial and a TikTok meme often say the same thing. We're just willing to say it out loud.

The newsroom is split between Johannesburg, Cape Town and the group chat. We publish daily. We argue constantly. The masthead is small, opinionated, and growing.
